COVID-19

Information

At the Children’s Clinic of Pueblo, the health and safety of our patients, families, and staff is our number one priority.  COVID-19 is a new virus and we are still learning about it, but so far, thankfully there does not seem to be a lot of illness in children.  Most illness, including serious illness, is happening in adults of working age and older adults.

During this time, our doctors and staff will continue to observe recommended regulations to ensure the health and safety of every person that visits our offices.  Thank you for your support and understanding under these unusual circumstances, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

What Has Changed:

Until further notice, we have put in place the following measures to protect you, your family, our staff, and our community:

Masks:

We kindly ask that everyone
over the age of 4 wear a mask
while in the office

Screening:

  • We will take the temperature of everyone prior to entering the office
  • We will screen all patients on the appointment line to assess the risk of COVID-19
  • We will not see anyone in the office that has traveled or been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days (Telemedicine is still available)

Appointments:

  • Whenever possible, please limit visits to the patient plus one parent/guardian
  • Well visits are schedule in the morning and sick visits scheduled in the afternoon
  • We currently offer Telemedicine appointment options

Cleaning

  • As always, each exam room is cleaned before and after every patient
  • The waiting room is cleaned each morning, mid-day, and again at the end of the day
